So it’s one of those unwritten rules, or so I thought. Whenever you go to the grocery store or gas station and you’re standing behind a person who’s checking out, it’s the polite thing to do to stand back and give them some space. Space, so they can enter their pin number on their debit card.
Obviously, the rule needs to be written out for some. I was at a gas station this afternoon and a woman was literally on my heels! Normally, I’d have no problem asking someone to take a step back or THREE. Unfortunately today, I didn’t have it in me. My mind was on caffeine – a quick cure for a terrible headache. I did however lean over (very intentionally) as I keyed in my pin. Guess what? The woman, didn’t budge.
Anyway, just thought I’d put it out there. Common courtesy goes along way. I’m off my soapbox now!
